ID.R developed completely in reverse is a track record challenger born for speed. The addition is an L-shaped power battery, which is divided into two parts, front and rear, to supply power to the front and rear motors independently, which reduces the difficulty of design and temperature control, and improves the charging efficiency. A special charger with a power of 90kW can be fully charged in 20 minutes. If the front and rear batteries are nearly fully balanced, it will take an additional 10 minutes. However, the 20-minute rapid rush can already allow ID.R to recharge on the track.
