argon ion laser
A typical ion laser that uses inert gas argon ions as the working substance and generates laser light by stimulated emission between ion energy levels. Work under the conditions of large current arc discharge or pulse discharge. The output blue and green wavelengths (0.5145 and 0.4880) are excited by DC discharge to ionize and excite argon atoms, thereby outputting visible lasers of various wavelengths.
