Introduction to Helium-neon gas laser

The helium-neon laser is a gas laser that uses the neutral atomic gases helium and neon as the working material. The continuous laser is output in a continuous excitation mode. In the visible and near-infrared regions, there are mainly three spectral lines of 0.6328 microns, 3.39 microns and 1.15 microns, of which the red light of 0.6328 microns is the most commonly used. The output power of helium-neon lasers is generally a few milliwatts to hundreds of milliwatts
