Multi-axis drilling machine classification

Multi-axis drilling machines are roughly divided into two types: adjustable and fixed.

An adjustable type: the body structure is composed of a gear box and a universal joint head. Since the universal joint is a movable shaft member, it can move left and right within a limited range. It is not restricted by gears when adjusting the machining hole distance. It is suitable for processing a variety of uncertain hole parts and has a wide range of use. The disadvantage is that there is a lack of precision control, and the long-term use of the bit rate is slightly higher. It is suitable for enterprises that do not process a single piece and replace the processed parts for many years.

2 Fixed type: The multi-axis device is tailored according to the single piece machining part, that is, according to the spacing and arrangement of the parts, the dead axis is fixed. In order to achieve single-axis single-axis, one-piece multi-axis standard solution. This is the ultimate mode of using a multi-axle and is the fastest drilling machine for increased productivity. The fixed type of guide plate multi-axis is accurate and durable. When replacing the parts, there is a lot of space for payment and it is not hindered by the fixture. The processed products are more precise and the multi-axis drilling machines are more durable.

Multi-axis drilling machines are classified according to the hardness of the workpieces, and can be divided into three types: medium cutting type, heavy cutting type and strong overweight cutting type. Medium cutting is suitable for workpieces with HB ≤ 150 or less such as aluminum, magnesium and copper. Heavy cutting is suitable for workpieces with a number of holes greater than 10 or steels with a diameter of 7 or less and HB of less than 265. The powerful overweight cutting type is used for workpieces with hardness of 265 ≤ HB ≤ 330 steel and iron.
