There are two variants of pyro-quartz, one called meteorite silica glass and one called lightning tube stone. Meteorite glass is silicon dioxide (there is a lot of silicon dioxide in the sand) formed by the impact of meteorites under the action of high temperature and high pressure; lightning tube stone is formed on the silica by the high temperature effect of lightning on the ground.
