Introduction to Weak Interactions

Weak interactions (also known as weak or weak nuclear forces) are one of the four basic forces of nature, and the remaining three are strong nuclear, electromagnetic, and universal gravitation. It is caused by the radioactive decay of subatomic particles, and it is also initiated by a process called hydrogen fusion in stars. Weak interactions affect all fermions, that is, all particles with semi-odd spins.
