Introduction to Ammonia
Ammonia, also known as Amonia water, can be written as NH3(aq), which is an aqueous solution of ammonia, colorless, transparent and has a pungent odor.
Industrial ammonia is an aqueous solution containing 25%-28% of ammonia. Only a small part of ammonia molecules react with water to form ammonia monohydrate, which is a weak base that exists only in ammonia.
