A spark ignition engine can also be called a spark ignition engine. It is an internal combustion engine that relies on electric spark to ignite the mixture. Both gasoline engines and kerosene engines are ignition engines. They are all internal combustion engines that rely on electric sparks to ignite the mixture. Engines that use the high temperature generated by compressed air to ignite fuel for combustion are called compression ignition engines, such as diesel engines.
