Free energy introduction
Free energy refers to the part of the system's reduced internal energy that can be converted to work in a certain thermodynamic process. It measures: the "useful energy" that the system can output in a specific thermodynamic process. Can be divided into Helmholtz free energy and Gibbs free energy.
