bumping introduction

When air bubbles or impurities are lacking in the liquid, even if the temperature reaches and exceeds the boiling point, it will not boil and form a superheated liquid. A superheated liquid is unstable. If the external ambient temperature of a superheated liquid drops suddenly or intrudes into air bubbles or impurities, it will form a violent boiling with a popping sound. This phenomenon is called bumping.
