Murray Gellman character profile
Murray Gellman (English: Murray Gell-Mann, September 15, 1929-), American physicist and member of the National Academy of Sciences. He won the 1969 Nobel Prize in Physics for the discovery of the classification of elementary particles and their interactions. Gelman is well-versed in a wide range of disciplines, is an encyclopedic scholar, and a rare generalist in the academic world in the late 20th century. In addition to the disciplines of mathematics and science, he is also very proficient in archaeology, taxonomy and linguistics.
