Inhibitor introduction
Any substance that can reduce the catalytic activity of an enzyme without causing denaturation of the enzyme protein is collectively referred to as an enzyme inhibitor. Inhibitors are mostly combined with essential groups inside and outside the active center of the enzyme, thereby inhibiting the catalytic activity of the enzyme.
