Faraday Generator Overview
On August 29, 1831, American scientist Faraday succeeded in turning mechanical power into electricity. His experimental setup is no different from Coraton's experimental setup, except that he puts the ammeter around himself, and the pointer is clearly deflected as soon as the magnet is inserted into the coil. He succeeded. The mechanical force that the hand moves the magnet is finally transformed into electricity that moves the charge.
Faraday took the hardest step. He kept researching and, two months later, experimented with the first real generator that produced a steady current. It marks that human beings have entered the electrical age from the steam era.
