Deuteron properties

There are two nuclei in the deuteron, the average binding energy is 1.11 MeV (1eV≈1.602 189 2 × 10-19J), There are 3 spin state functions for each deuteron, namely +1, 0, -1. The deuteron has a small charge and a small Coulomb repulsion between each other. Small amounts of energy can overcome the effect of the repulsion. At ultra-high temperatures, the deuteron or hydrogen nuclei collide with each other, a fusion reaction can occur, releasing energy, and generating a core with an average binding energy greater than that of the deuteron
