Clutch pedal working principle

The clutch pedal is the operating device of the manual transmission automobile clutch assembly, and is the interaction part between the automobile and the driver "human machine". In the school car or in normal driving, it is one of the “five control parts” for driving a car. The frequency of use is very high. For convenience, people are directly called “clutch”. Whether it is operated correctly or not directly affects the start, shift and reverse of the car.

The so-called clutch, as the name suggests, is to use the "off" and "combination" to transmit the right amount of power. The clutch is composed of a friction plate, a spring piece, a pressure plate and a power output shaft, and is arranged between the engine and the gearbox for transmitting the torque stored on the engine flywheel to the transmission to ensure that the vehicle is transmitted to the drive wheel under different driving conditions. The right amount of driving force and torque belong to the category of powertrain. In the semi-coupling, the power input end of the clutch and the power output end allow a difference in the rotational speed, that is, the transmission of an appropriate amount of power through the difference in the rotational speed.
