Characteristics of the third type of electrode
(1) There is only one phase interface and two phases between the first type conductor and the second type conductor.
(2) During the electrode reaction process, only electrons and no other substances (anions, cations) cross the interface.
(3) The electrode potential is determined by the concentration (or activity) ratio of the different oxidation states of the substance, which conforms to the Nemst equation.
