Car side slip prevention measures

(1) When maintaining and adjusting the brake mechanism, be sure to adjust the front and rear wheels to lock at the same time, or the front wheels are slightly locked in advance, and the brakes should not have obvious deviation.

(2) Driving on muddy roads and snowy roads, the speed should be appropriately reduced. When encountering obstacles, decelerate in advance. Do not blindly drive at high speeds, so that it can stop faster when encountering situations, reduce non-safety factors of braking, and avoid side slippage of vehicles. .

(3) When turning on a road with poor adhesion, it should be decelerated to the right in advance to avoid sharp steering or steering while braking, in case the vehicle produces side slip. In particular, when turning at an intersection, a turn signal should be issued in advance to prompt other vehicles to have sufficient time to control the speed of the vehicle, to avoid a collision accident, or to cause side slip due to the forced braking of the vehicle.

(4) If side slip occurs during driving, the brake should be released immediately, and the steering wheel should be turned to the side of the side slip (but the steering wheel should not be too fast), and the throttle should be released to the low speed. Smoothly turn the steering wheel to its original position.

(5) Before the vehicle is out, necessary inspections should be carried out to eliminate hidden dangers such as proper inspection, adjustment of brake clearance and brake pedal free travel; inspection of steering wheel play clearance and correct adjustment of the tightness of the horizontal tie rod ball pin.

(6) When braking is required, the engine brake is not separated (the power is not cut off), the possibility of the wheel being locked and slipped is greatly reduced, the wheel can be rolled at a reduced speed, and the side slip is less likely to occur.
