Bevel gear features
Bevel gears are mainly used to realize the movement and power transmission between two intersecting axes. The two-axis intersection angle is called the shaft angle. The value of ∑ can be determined according to the needs of the transmission. Usually, 90 degrees is used, that is, vertical intersecting. The teeth of the bevel gear are arranged on the truncated cone. Therefore, the expression corresponding to each "cylinder" in the spur gear becomes a "cone", such as an indexing cone, a pitch cone, a base cone, a tip cone, etc. This is also the origin of the name of the bevel gear.
