Western Economics

Aug 15, 2020

Western economics refers to the paradigm of political economy that emerged and prevailed in Western countries. The narrow sense refers to the Western bourgeois political economy paradigm, and the broad sense includes the Marxist political economy paradigm. Western economics and Eastern economics are different economic paradigms. Western economics is mainly a paradigm concept, not just a geographical concept. The neoliberal economics popular in China since the reform and opening up also belong to Western economics.
