Vicat softening temperature——The temperature at which a sample of engineering plastics, general-purpose plastics and other polymers are pressed into a depth of 1mm by a pressure needle of 1m㎡ in a liquid heat transfer medium under a certain load and a certain constant rate of temperature rise.
