Its detection stability and sensitivity are much higher than infrared rays, but it also has a fatal flaw. It can only detect obstacles dynamically. In other words, when the vehicle is stopped, nothing can be detected. Therefore, the practicality is not satisfactory.
3. Ultrasonic
In the 1990s, the reversing aid system finally ushered in a technological breakthrough and adopted ultrasonic as a detection medium. Its performance indicators and economics are so good that today's products are developed based on this technology.
Ultrasonic and machine vision. The latest reversing assist system uses ultrasonic and machine vision as a means of detection, fully intelligent parking. For example, the Lexus LS460L is the first model to enter the domestic intelligent parking assist system. It uses ultrasonic sensors to detect obstacles and can automatically recognize the parking line in combination with the camera. When the car automatically detects the parking position and distance, as long as the driver presses With the confirmation button, the system will automatically park.
