On February 16, 2014, at the International Indoor Athletics Grand Prix in Donetsk, Ukraine, Linard Lavillene crossed a height of 6.16 meters, breaking Sergey Bubka’s 20-year 51-week world record.

On February 8, 2020, in the World Athletics Indoor Tour Torun, Poland, Sweden's Armand Duplantis broke the men's pole vault world record with a score of 6.17 meters. [3] On February 15, Sweden's Armand Duplantis broke the men's pole vault world record with a score of 6.18 meters.

Women's pole vault world record holder:

On August 28, 2009, in the Zurich station of the IAAF Golden League, Isinbayeva broke the original world record of 5.05 meters in the women’s pole vault set by herself in the Beijing Olympic Games with a score of 5.06 meters. She broke the world record for the 27th time in her career, and also the 15th time that she broke the world record for outdoor competitions.
