Phase Transition

The process of changing a substance from one phase to another. The physical and chemical properties of the material system are exactly the same, and the uniform part with obvious interface with other parts is called the phase. Corresponding to the three states of solid, liquid, and gas, there are solid, liquid, and gas phases.
