Part of the engine lubrication system
The basic task of the lubrication system is to continuously supply the clean, pressure-bearing, temperature-friendly oil to the friction surface of the moving parts to make the engine work normally. To this end, the pressure lubrication system must have an oil pump for establishing sufficient oil pressure for pressure lubrication and ensuring oil circulation, a container for storing oil (generally using oil sump oil storage), processed by lubricating oil pipe and on the engine body. A series of lubricating oil passages consist of a circulating oil circuit. There must also be a device that limits the maximum oil pressure in the oil circuit - a pressure limiting valve that can be attached to the oil pump or can be set separately.
