Oxygenated solvent
A solvent containing oxygen atoms in the molecule. They can provide a wide range of solubility and volatility. Many resins cannot be dissolved in hydrocarbon solvents, but can be dissolved in oxygenated solvents. Common products include alcohols, ketones, esters and alcohol ethers.
