N₂O Emission Reduction

Oct 26, 2020

The anthropogenic emission sources of nitrous oxide (N₂O) are mostly agricultural/livestock related activities, and the emissions of industrial processes are mainly based on the chemical raw material processes that require nitrogen elements such as nitric acid and adipic acid. Nitric acid is one of the reaction raw materials) and so on.

Agriculture/Livestock:

Organic compost management, and proper treatment of its odor or energy recovery.

Avoid burning agricultural waste or burning large areas of agricultural land as a farming/development method.

Industrial procedures:

Improve the production rate of the main products of the relevant chemical reactions (program substitution or equipment improvement can be achieved).

De-NOx facilities are installed at the back end of the chemical reaction of related chemicals.

Incinerators (especially biological sludge incinerators) are equipped with De-NOx facilities.

Properly treat domestic sewage.
