Molecular deformation
Under the action of an external electric field, the position of the center of gravity of the positive and negative charges in the molecule changes, resulting in "induced dipole". This phenomenon is called molecular polarization or deformation polarization. After the molecule is polarized, the shape of the molecule changes, which is called molecular deformation.
