Max Planck Biography
Max Karl Ernst Ludwig Planck (German: Max Karl Ernst Ludwig Planck, April 23, 1858-October 4, 1947), born in Holstein, Germany, Germany Famous physicist and one of the important founders of quantum mechanics.
Planck and Einstein are also called the two most important physicists of the twentieth century. He made an important contribution to another leap in physics because of the discovery of energy quantization, and won the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1918.
In 1874, Planck entered the University of Munich to study mathematics, and then changed to physics. Transferred to Berlin University in 1877, he listened to the lectures of Professor Helmholtz and Kirchhoff, and received a doctorate in 1879. From 1930 to 1937, he served as president of the Royal William Society of Germany, which was renamed Max Planck Society in honor of Planck.
