Linear regulator
Linear Regulators use transistors or FETs operating in their linear region to subtract the excess voltage from the input voltage of the application to produce a regulated output voltage. Its products are all in small packages with excellent performance, and provide value-added features such as thermal overload protection and safe current limiting. The shutdown mode can also greatly reduce power consumption.
