Light Triggered Thyristor

The light-controlled thyristor is also called the light-triggered thyristor, which uses a certain wavelength of light signal to replace the electrical signal to trigger the device. The volt-ampere characteristic of the light-controlled thyristor is the same as that of the ordinary thyristor, except that as the light signal becomes stronger, its forward turning voltage gradually becomes lower.
