Introduction to vertical sweep

Vertical scanning, also known as "vertical scanning frequency", is also called "field frequency" or "refresh rate". Refers to the number of times the electron gun scans the entire screen within a unit of time (in seconds), usually expressed in hertz (Hz). Taking the 85Hz refresh rate as an example, it means that the content of the display is refreshed 85 times per second.
