Introduction to Quantization
Quantization is a procedure for constructing quantum field theory from classical field theory. Using this program, it is often possible to directly tailor the theory in classical mechanics into a brand new quantum mechanics theory. The quantization of the field mentioned by physicists refers to the quantization of the electromagnetic field. Here, they classify photons as a field quantum (for example, photons are called photons). For theories in the academic fields of particle physics, nuclear physics, solid state physics and quantum optics, quantization is their basic program.
