Introduction to Particle Physics
Particle physics is a branch of physics that studies the basic particles that make up matter and rays and their interactions. Because many elementary particles do not exist or appear alone under the general conditions of nature, physicists can only use particle accelerators to produce and study them under the condition of high-energy collision, so particle physics is also called high-energy physics.
