Introduction to Caloric theory
Caloric theory is a wrong and limited scientific theory that was used to explain the physical phenomenon of heat. According to this theory, heat is a substance called "caloric", which is a massless gas. After the object absorbs the heat mass, the temperature will rise, and the heat mass will flow from the high-temperature object to the temperature. Low objects can also pass through the pores of solids or liquids. The theory of heat mass began to prevail after the Lava Festival overthrew the phlogiston theory in 1772. Lava Festival's "Basic Chemistry" listed heat as a basic substance.
