Introduction to 3D Visualization

Three-dimensional visualization is a tool used to display, describe and understand the characteristics of many geological phenomena underground and on the ground, and is widely used in all fields of geology and geophysics. Three-dimensional visualization is a means of depicting and understanding models, a form of representation of a data volume, not a simulation technology. It can use a large amount of data to check the continuity of the data, identify the authenticity of the data, find and propose useful anomalies, provide useful tools for analysis, understanding and repetition of data, and play a bridge role in multidisciplinary communication and collaboration.
