Introduction of lithium chloride
Lithium chloride has a molecular formula of LiCl and a molecular weight of 42.39.
Lithium chloride is a white crystal with deliquescent properties. It is salty and easily soluble in water, organic solvents such as ethanol, acetone and pyridine. It is a low-toxic type, but it has a strong irritating and corrosive effect on the eyes and mucous membranes.
Lithium chloride is mainly used in the field of air conditioning, used as flux, desiccant, chemical reagent, and used in making fireworks, dry batteries and lithium metal.
