Ignition engine introduction

A spark ignition engine can also be referred to as a spark-ignition engine. It is an internal combustion engine that relies on electric spark to ignite the mixture. Gasoline engines and kerosene engines are all ignited engines. They are all internal combustion engines that rely on electric sparks to ignite the mixture. An engine that uses a high temperature generated by compressed air to ignite fuel for combustion is called a compression ignition engine, such as a diesel engine.
