Hybrid Orbital Theory (Hybrid Orbital Theory) was proposed by Pauling L et al. on the basis of valence bond theory in 1931. It still belongs to modern valence bond theory in essence, but it is in bond forming ability and molecular space. The configuration and other aspects have enriched and developed the modern bond theory.
