Furnace is a three-dimensional space surrounded by furnace wall for fuel combustion. The function of the furnace is to ensure that the fuel burns as much as possible and to cool the flue gas temperature at the outlet of the furnace to the allowable temperature for safe operation of the convective heating surface.
