Ethylenethiourea Properties
White needle crystals. Melting point 203-204 ℃. Soluble in hot water. At 90°C, 44g of this product is soluble in 100ml of water, but only 2g in 30°C water. Soluble in alcohol, ethylene glycol and pyridine, insoluble in ether, benzene, chloroform and petroleum ether.
