Epoxyethane Properties
Epoxyethane is chemically very active and can undergo ring-opening addition reactions with many compounds. Ethylene oxide can reduce silver nitrate. It is easy to polymerize after being heated and can be decomposed in the presence of metal salts or oxygen.
