dropping mercury electrode

The mercury drop electrode is a special electrode commonly used in polarography. It is an electrode in which mercury flows from the lower end of a vertical glass capillary with an outer diameter of 3-7mm and an inner diameter of 0.04-0.08mm, and forms mercury droplets. (Each mercury droplet continuously grows from small to large, when it reaches a diameter of about 0.5-1.0mm When it drips due to gravity).
