Classification of sensitive components
Sensitive components can be classified into two types according to the relationship between input and output: one is a slowly changing type, and its output signal gradually increases or decreases with increasing input signal over a wide range; the other is a mutant type. It has a sudden change in a narrow range of the input signal, with little variation outside this range. The basic requirements for sensitive components are: sensitivity, stability and reliability, interchangeability and production repeatability, and in some cases high response rates are required.
