Appearance: The body is very thick, the chest is full and broad, the legs are stout, the length is short to medium, the claws are round, the root of the tail is thick, and the tip of the tail is blunt. The head is round, the ears are wide apart, the cheeks are round, the chin is strong, the ears are medium in size, the big round eyes are wide open, and the nose is moderately wide. The coat is short and very dense. The gills of male cats are more developed than female cats, and in every respect they are larger than female cats. It takes three to five years for this breed to fully mature. The cat should show the overall symmetry and proportion, and should not overemphasize a certain characteristic, so as not to induce neglect or extreme tendency in the breeding process. From medium to large, the skeleton and muscles are very developed. The short, fat neck and broad and flat shoulders match, suitable for hunting. The head is round and broad, and the biggest feature is that the distance between the ears is very close, and the length of the tail is about 2/3 of the whole body.

Coat color: Fifteen breeds are recognized, the most famous of which is the blue British shorthair cat. Shaded tabby patterns appearing in pure, smoke, shaded, shaded golden, bicolor, and tricolor kittens are not bad.
