vitellin
Vitellin is a high-density glycolipoprotein. It is the main component of the egg yolk of all oviparous vertebrates and invertebrate females. It accumulates rapidly during the vitellogenesis period and is stored in the egg. It is the main source of nutrition for the early development of embryos and larvae.
