Valve body definition
A "valve" is defined as a device used to control the direction, pressure, and flow of a fluid in a fluid system. A valve is a device that allows a pipe or a medium (liquid, gas, powder) to flow or stop and control its flow rate.
The material of the valve body is made of different materials according to different process media.
Common materials are: cast iron, cast steel, stainless steel, carbon steel, plastic, copper and so on.
