The working principle of linear asynchronous motor
The working principle of the linear asynchronous motor is the same as that of the rotary asynchronous motor. The stator winding is connected to the AC power supply. After passing the multi-phase AC current, a smooth traveling wave magnetic field is generated in the air gap (when the rotating magnetic field radius is large, It becomes a traveling wave magnetic field moving in a straight line). The magnetic field moves linearly along the air gap. At the same time, an electromotive force is induced in the mover conductor and a current is generated. This current interacts with the traveling wave magnetic field to generate an asynchronous driving force, which makes the mover move linearly along the traveling wave direction. If the phase sequence of the power supply in the stator winding of the linear asynchronous motor is changed, the moving direction of the traveling wave magnetic field will be reversed. According to this principle, the linear asynchronous motor can make a reciprocating linear motion.
