The method of measuring the conductance of the solution to be tested is called the conductance analysis method. Conductance is the reciprocal of resistance, so the measurement of conductance value is actually re-converted by the measurement of resistance value, that is to say, the measurement method of conductance should be the same as the measurement method of resistance. However, during the measurement of the solution conductance, when the current passes through the electrode, the ions will discharge on the electrode, causing polarization to cause errors. Therefore, when measuring the conductance, use an alternating current with a sufficiently high frequency to prevent the production of electrolytic products. In addition, the electrode used is plated with platinum black to reduce the overpotential and improve the accuracy of the measurement results.
