The use of accumulators
1 When the low speed movement requires less flow than the hydraulic pump flow, the excess flow of the hydraulic pump is stored in the accumulator. When the load demand flow is greater than the hydraulic pump flow, the liquid is discharged from the accumulator to compensate for the shortage of hydraulic pump flow. .
2 When the machine is stopped but still needs to maintain a certain pressure, the hydraulic pump can be stopped and the accumulator compensates for the leakage of the system to maintain the pressure of the system.
The accumulator can also be used to absorb the pressure pulsation of the hydraulic pump or the hydraulic shock pressure generated in the absorption system. The pressure in the accumulator can be generated by a compressed gas, a weight or a spring, and the accumulator is divided into a gas type, a heavy hammer type and a spring type. The gas in the gas accumulator is in direct contact with the liquid, which is called contact type. The structure is simple and the capacity is large, but the liquid is easily mixed with gas, and is often used in a hydraulic press. The gas and liquid are not in contact with each other. They are usually isolated by the skin and the diaphragm. The volume of the capsule changes greatly, and the volume of the diaphragm changes little. It is often used to absorb pressure fluctuations. The heavy hammer has a large capacity and is often used in systems such as rolling mills for energy storage.
