(1) Good confidentiality. Due to the high directivity of the laser, its emitted beam is extremely narrow and the directivity is very good. Usually the development angle of the laser beam is in milliradians, even the main microradians, so it has extremely high confidentiality of data transmission.
(2) No license for microwave frequency band. Because the working frequency of wireless communication is 350THZ, and there is no radio frequency signal interference between devices, there is no need to apply for a frequency use license at present.
(3) Low operating cost. Because there is no need to lay and maintain expensive pipeline engineering, its cost is only 1/5 of optical fiber.
(4) Rapid erection. The wireless optical communication is set up with fast networking speed, and only a few devices are installed on the communication node. It is especially suitable for emergency failure backup of optical fiber communication and temporary construction of large-capacity communication links.
(5) Transparent transmission protocol. It can be easily added to any transmission protocol, and both circuit and data services can be transparently transmitted.
(6) Large information capacity Lightwave, as an information carrier, can easily transmit data up to 10GB/S, and the highest rate of commercially available wireless laser equipment reaches 2.5GB/S.
